For those of you who are on a seafood diet like me (see food and eat it), the 2010 Seafood Extravaganza hosted by Meridien Marina at the iconic Marina Mirage will be held from 11am until 4pm this coming Sunday.

Traditionally the Seafood Extravaganza helps bring Carnivale to a spectacular close.  Some of the world’s finest seafood delights will be available as the local fishing and seafood industry showcase their catches direct from the Coral Sea.

Bathed in sunshine where the boats bring in their latest bounty, and nestled between the mountains and Great Barrier Reef, the Meridien Marina is the perfect location to sample seafood delicacies served straight from working fishing vessels, or tasting plates cooked to order from one of the many local Port Douglas restaurants trading on the boardwalk for the day.

With free entry, live music, and plenty of entertainment for the kids, trout yourself…er…that’s treat yourself to the Seafood Extravaganza.
