The second Port Douglas Plantation Resort Music Trivia challenge was held on Wednesday March 10th. 

There were six teams competing but Cameron Walton and his team of 'Also rans' including high flyers Za and Brad from Skysafari, were too good for the others and hit Number 1 for the evening, winning the $100 dollare resort voucher. 

Kate and Ann from the Sensational 60s team, dominated the interlude games at the microphone, winning a prize every time.  Hosts Dave and Donna were delighted with the increased turn out for this, only their second, music trivia evening at the resort. 

The format of the trivia evening which starts at about 7.00pm is comprised of four rounds of 15 questions from a mixed bag of eras and genres, so all tastes are covered.  If you're feelking confident you can even play your Joker for double points on what you think will be your favourite round. 

It should be noted that the two tables of attendant local musos were left competing for last place.  Unusually since I (Editor) was part of one of those teams, I have no Editor Comment to make !

The next Music Trivia Challenge in April would fall on Anzac Day so Resort Manager Dave is going to advise us once  he has sorted out an alternative date, probably the evening before. Stay tuned for confirmation.
