One week until a Bran Nue Dae

We've been talking a lot recently about the National Film & Sounds Archive’s Big Screen film festival (Sunday, 13 June from 6pm at Rex Smeal Park). Why? Because we want to see more events like this come to Port Douglas, and for that to happen we need to support events like the Big Screen.

Besides, what better way is there to spend a Sunday night than watching the sunset from the point before settling in to a night of fine Aussie cinema with friends and family?

For just $2 you'll be treated to the Bran Nue 'Bran Nue Dae', the 1954 classic 'King of the Coral Sea', and the short film 'Sharpeye'.

That's just 66.67 cents a movie. They're 1954 prices! So put a reminder in your phone, on the back of your hand, or on the calendar in your dunny. Tickets are available at the gate.

Enough said. I'll see you there.
