Pub Crawl

Fri 9 July

What's on in Port?

Another big fortnight of entertainment awaits at our three biggest venues in town. Let's take a closer look.

The Court House Hotel

Local two piece, Tasty, will be rocking out on Saturday night and again next Friday, while you'll be able to catch guitar maestro Dave Cook on Monday night.

Other acts to watch out for are rock band, Tonic, one man band, Gusman, looping sensation, Marcus, and "cheeky and fun" (thanks SuperSal) classic pub rock band, Big Noise.

The Ironbar

More of our local favourites are out in force for the next fortnight at the Ironbar with Funky Love Tech, Raunch, and Grand Theft Audio all gracing the stage.

After his Australian Idol success a few years back, Dan England, the dreadlocked guitarist with a soulful voice will be coming to town to perform for a couple of weeks from 21 July. Dan has toured consistently since his appearance on the show and has supported former Australian Idol runner-up Shannon Noll.

The Central Hotel

Appearing live at the Central for two shows only on 13 and 17 July is Bo Jenkins. Born in Bottleneck, Arkansas, Bo mixes a fine blend of country, rock, and blues, a passion he's had since he first picked up a guitar at the age of 17.

"We lived by the Mississippi River and when you grow up there you've got two choices, you either pick cotton or play guitar." Bo said. Luckily for us he chose the latter.

Plenty of other action can be found at the Central over the next two weeks, so get down there and check it out for yourself.
