New look for Commonwealth Bank Port Douglas

Branch Manager David Rootsey welcomed an invited client audience to introduce them to the newly refurbished Port Douglas Commonwealth Bank branch on the corner of Grant and Macrossan Streets.

Refreshments were served including canapes from bel Cibo personally served by new owner and Head Chef Andrew Gray.

The internal refurbishment has been designed to make the automatic facilities easier to use with the introduction of a coin change machine and net banking terminal and of course the personal contact more accessible.

The modern decor of both the new look frontage and interior is hoped to add a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for both their existing clients and to any potential new clients looking for assistance in these difficult financial times.

During his introductory speech Mr Rootsey introduced his branch team and then Division 10 Cairns Regional Councillor Julia Leu was invited to officially open the branch.

The branch will be open from the earlier time of 9.00am as from today.
