Newsport Australia Day $1,100 give-away competition

Come and see us at IGA Port Douglas this Saturday on Jan 9th from 9am til 1pm for a chance to win over $1,100 worth of beach goodies.

Newsport Daily, the online daily local news service in association with our friends at Windswell Kite Surfing on Four Mile Beach and Tshinta, Port Douglas have a fantastic Kite Board package including a Kiteboard worth $850 with lessons worth $220 plus an exclusive Seafolly Bikini of your choice up to the value of $100 to give away to one lucky subscriber whose name is drawn on Australia Day, Tuesday January 26th from the entries collected at this IGA Port Douglas promotion desk and/or from online subscriptions.  The winner will be advised on Newsmail by 10am on Australia Day.

This unique 130mm Windswell All Rounder Kite board is made in Oz by Kiter Boards for kite boarders and features Perrin Clarke's iconic Four Mile Beach panorama as the front and back illustration for the board.  This style of board usually retails for $850 but this customised version is worth so much more.

According to Windswell's owner and operator Brett Wright this board is among the best and smoothest all round boards perfect for any level rider doing any style of riding. It features double concave wood core ABS rails and a rounder template providing a super ride.

Bretto says "I honesty I have not ridden any better boards than these and I'm stoked that they are designed and made here in Queensland utilizing Ozzie timber".

"Kite boards also ride better than wake boards" says Bretto, "because of their light but strong construction you can also ride them with binding and can be ridden at Cableski or behind the boat".
