Muddies Cricket Season moves into 2010

The Court House Hotel Mudcrabs Seniors cricket teams re-commence their seasons this coming Saturday with the fourth round of the One day 50 over competition.

The B Grade hit the road with an away game against Innisfail at the Innisfail TAFE ground starting at 10.00am and the C Grade take on United Cairns at the Port Douglas Sports Ground starting at 10am.

The B Grade finished the first half of the season with a handsome home win over Cairns Norths so their confidence is high.  The C Grade are just coming together with a good away win over Cairns Norths and two narrow losses to leave them needing to win their remaining three home games to stand a chance of getting into the finals but the way the team has been progressing, the smart money is on The Muddies.
