We are grateful to Marco Piat owner of Zinc and Finz Restaurants in Port Douglas for bringing to our attention the 2010 Savour Australia Restaurant and Catering Awards for Excellence.

We thought that you would like to know that if you send in a nomination for this prestigious award you could win a pre-paid visa card to the value of $100.
Between now and 28 February, simply vote by clicking on the link below for your favourite nominated restaurant which in our case for Port Douglas would be either Finz or Zinc via a simple entry form for your chance to win a pre-paid Visa gift card to the value of $100.

Editors Comments: I like the idea of nominating two of our superb Port Douglas restaurants for these awards and getting the chance to win $100, which I could then go and spend in one of these excellent establishments. And in any case, even without knowing who their opposition will be, they should win anyway.
