Over the course of the next 2 weeks, we will be letting our readers know where the most romantic spots in town are to take their loved ones, where to get the most thoughtful gifts and how to avoid having to introduce a damage limitation campaign because you've forgotten the day completely !  

It's OK, no need  to panic yet, we've got two whole weeks until the magical February 14th so make sure you follow Newsport each and everyday and we'll make it as painless as possible to guarantee you do the right thing at the right time with the right person !

All the restaurants in the region will be doing their best to accommodate that 'lovin' feelin' for the whole day from lunch to dinner.  Already we know that harrisons in Wharf Street and bucci in Macrossan Street are 'pashing up' the atmosphere to ensure all their loving couples savour every spine tingling moment of this very special day. 

As soon as all the other restaurants in town advise us of their romantic rendezvous plans, we'll get them out to you but in the meantime, make sure your partners diary is clear and start hinting at what you have in store but 'easy Tiger' don't spill the beans too early, take your time and build the atmosphere, all good things come to those who are patient.
