Tourism Australia coming to Port Douglas

The country’s highest tourism officials will be visiting the region to engage first hand with member operators.

TPDD Executive Officer Doug Ryan announced that Tourism Australia’s managing director, Andrew McEvoy, together with senior market managers Richard Beer, Matt Cameron Smith and Jim Jones will attend an open forum at Sea Temple Resort & Spa on August 18th at 2.00pm.

“This is a great opportunity for operators to engage first hand with questions and answers with Tourism Australia’s most senior staff.  The visit is a result of an invitation we (TPDD) recently issued to Andrew McEvoy to see and hear how our member operators are faring in the current global tourism slump.  We are delighted that he not only accepted the invitation to visit our region, but that he is bringing with him senior market managers.  This is a very valuable opportunity for dialogue with the country’s highest level tourism officials,” said Doug Ryan.

The presentations will conclude at 5.00pm and there will be a cash bar for a networking session.  To register attendance, please email info@tpdd.com.au
