Over 1,000 people turned out to the Sustainable Living Expo at the Cairns TAFE Campus last Sunday to learn how to reduce the impact their lives have on our environment.

The rain held off as mad scientist street performers put smiles on everyone's faces with their hilarious antics, while on a more serious note, workshops on sustainable building design attracted a good audience.
 

Winners were announced for the Recycled Sculpture  Competition with winning entries now on display in the Cairns Regional Council's Civic Reception foyer.

The Expo has become an annual family event with children’s activities, music, food and drinks, face painting and street performance.
