Quality golf day at Sea Temple

Around 100 people turned out on a glorious Tuesday morning at Sea Temple Golf Club to support one of Australia's most loved charities, Camp Quality.

Among the players to take to the fairways were former Australian Test Cricketers, Jimmy Maher and Darren Lehman, NRL Canterbury Bulldogs' George Peponis and Todd Greenberg, Rugby Union's David Herbert, and Cairns Taipans' CEO, Mark Becroft.

Organisers hoped to raise $15,000 for Camp Quality, a charity who aims to bring optimism and happiness to the lives of children and families affected by cancer.

Their motto is "We believe laughter is the best medicine" and looking at the form of some of the participants, there were some very healthy people enjoying their three course lunch as the round concluded.

Gold Coast residents, Stewart, Glenn, and Lynne were stoked to be part of the invitation only corporate day. "This is our first time to the invitational and it's just heaven here," Lynne said.
