On Friday, 23 April, 2010 the Port Douglas Chamber of Commerce is hosting a luncheon at Zinc Restaurant on corner of Macrossan Street and Davidson Street for members and guests to meet and hear what the new Chief executive Officer of the Cairns Regional Council, Lyn Russell has to say.

Lynn Russell has recently been appointed to the position and heads the executive management team who are responsible for the development and implementation of Council policy under the direction of the elected Councillors.

She has kindly accepted an invitation by the Port Douglas Chamber of Commerce to be the Guest Speaker at this informal luncheon. Tickets are available at $45 for Port Douglas Chamber of Commerce members and guests and $55 non-members. The welcome desk will be open from 11.45am with pre-lunch drinks and networking before luncheon is served at 12.30pm.
