Frequent flyer Henry Rollins crash lands at Tanks

Henry Rollins was the enigmatic frontman for ‘80’s US hardcore punk outfit Black Flag but has now matured into a brilliant writer/ raconteur/ activist/ actor/ agent provocateur and renaissance man, but has still managed to maintain his 'edge.

Henry Rollins returns to Australia at the invite of Melbourne International Comedy Festival and the Sydney Comedy Festival to perform his latest spoken-word show, and Tanks has secured a sideshow! he is performing on Wednesday 21st April for one night ONLY.

Entitled, ”Frequent Flyer Tour”, Henry's latest show is based on the hilarious and topical musings from his many foreign sorties. “Since I was last on tour, I have been travelling all over the world like everyone else, dealing with the changes America and the world is going through.   I thought America would become a more peaceful place in 2009.  I had no idea the country had so many lunatics. "

When Rollins talks about travelling, he’s not referring to plush resorts and genteel European cities, but global hotspots such as Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Brunei, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, China, and Senegal.

These experiences not only supply hilarious anecdotes for Henry’s talking shows, but they inform his worldview … “knowledge without mileage equals bullsh*t.”

Tickets are $45/ $40 (MA15+).  Doors open 6:30pm for a 7.30pm start.  For more info visit www.henryrollins.com and tickets available from www.ticketlink.com.au
