Carnivale 2010 Beach Cricket bigger and better

Calling all beach cricketers.....The Beach Cricket competition for Carnivale 2010 on Four Mile Beach is going to be bigger and better than ever before.  This year it’s starting two weeks out from the official Carnivale Family Beach Day on May 29th.

Eight teams will be playing on Saturday 15th May and a further eight teams playing the following Saturday 22nd May with the top two teams from each weekend going through to the Semi Finals to be held on Family Beach Day on Saturday 29th May.

The competition is open to boys and girls, Mums and dads, Grannies and Grandads, there's no age limit.  If you can swing a bat, bowl a ball and maybe run a little bit, then you've got everything you need for a great day of fun.  The tournaments will start each Saturday at about 10am (subject to low tide times) and will finish around lunchtime.

To enter a team in the 2010 competition please click below and follow the prompts to complete the form: www.carnivale.com.au/general/2010/04/07/2010-carnivale-beach-cricket-trophy-entry-forms-here/

When booking please state your preference for which of the two available Saturdays you would like to play and we’ll do our best to make sure you get your preference but it is on a 'first come first served' basis.  You can turn up on the day but please remember there is a maximum 16 team entries available (8 per game day), so to avoid disappointment why not book today.

The winning four teams from the two weekends will then challenge for the 2010 Carnivale Beach Cricket trophy on Family Beach Day from 10am on May 29th.

All cricket playing equipment for the day is supplied, so all you need to do is sort out your team strip or just come in a tee shirt and boardies, the choice is yours but don’t forget your factor 30.

We look forward to seeing you
