Youth Arts School Holiday NIDA Programme at Tanks

From 19 to 24th September, the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA) on Tour provides access to expertise in theatre, film and television by bringing short courses to capital cities and regional centres across Australia.

The following courses being run at Tanks Arts Centre are your opportunity to experience exciting courses led by specialists from NIDA and the entertainment industry !

ACTING INTENSIVE 16 YEARS +
Saturday 19 – Sunday 20 September
Develop your acting skills including improvisation, voice and movement and become
confident rehearsing and performing short scenes.
10am-5pm

ACTING TO CANBERRA 12-18 YEARS
Saturday 19 – Sunday 20 September
Discover your onscreen presence and experiment with scene work from film and TV scripts.

NIDA ACTING TECHNIQUES 12-15 YEARS & 16 YEARS +
Monday 21-Thursday 24 September
Identify and experience NIDA acting techniques. Develop skills in voice, movement,
improvisation and characterisation. Respond to scripts and relate to others effectively.
