tshinta launch new look website

Opened in Port Douglas in 1987, tshinta swimwear is one of the oldest established businesses in Port Douglas. That 'oldest established' description usually brings to mind ‘old fashioned’ but when applied to tshinta swimwear nothing could be further from reality.  The shop is a vibrant, colourful, modern store with easy to browse displays and Julie's attractive team of staff are welcoming, knowledgeable and attentive.

This is part of the secret of the driving force and owner of tshinta, Julie Bells success over the nearly 23 years of service to the area.  She has never allowed the business to stand still and even though they have long been considered one of the best swimwear stockists in the Far North of Queensland, tshinta has never rested on its laurels. tshinta has continually progressed and evolved with the trends of each fashion season.

The latest development to make tshinta even more accessible is the launch of the new look tshinta website at www.tshinta.com.au with an even easier online shopping option.

tshinta exclusively stocks the Seafolly label, Australia's leading manufacturer of high quality beachwear, swimsuits and accessories.  And the new look tshinta website displays a comprehensive fashion gallery to showcase the latest Seafolly swimwear range.

Julie proudly says "Both in the shop and online we stock swimwear and beach wear to suit everybody, we carry a large selection of swimwear from sizes 8 - 18 (AUST) with many pieces interchangeable.  We also sell the separates collection of bathing suits, sarongs, bikinis, beach wear and swimwear, so we're confident that we can ensure everyone gets just that they want"

Having been in retail for 30 years, although she doesn't look a day over 29yrs, Julie Bell can be justifiably proud of herself, her team and the tshinta success story.   When she decided to open tshinta in 1987, it was simply because she couldn't find anywhere to buy her summer wardrobe that naturally included swimwear and accessories.  Now after 8 years of exclusivity with Seafolly swimwear, her selection as one of only 16 stockists in the world for the Limited Edition Seafolly range, confirms that Port Douglas should also be loud and proud about her achievements.

When we asked Julie what her future ambition was for tshinta, in typical fashion she said "To retail for another 23 years and continue to be Port Douglas' Number One Shop and online service".
