Slip of the Tongue

Slip of the Tongue

Friday May 2 2014, 1:35pm

Have you heard about the great new show Tropical North Theatre Company is presenting on May 10th? It’s called ‘Slip of the Tongue’ and it will be a night of comedy, music, improvisation and games all the crowd can get involved in.

From the producers of Port Douglas Theatresports, this show is all about having fun, getting involved and having a laugh, even if it ends up being at yourself!!
There will be some talented local folk who will be adding to the excitement, by providing some comedic and musical acts to assist with the entertainment from our stage actors and brave audience volunteers, who will spontaneously perform on the spot, script-less skits.

Anything could happen and will! There are plenty of prizes for participating audience players, actors and entertainers alike and a whole lot of fun and frivolity. This year it is up to the audience to decide which talented people will take out the prizes and the glory of being the weirdest, wackiest and most interesting improviser. As the audience are going to be involved in the show, it could easily be YOU!!

Slip of the Tongue will be held at The Clink on Saturday the 10th of May, starting at 7:30pm. The bar opens at 6:30pm and we encourage the community to rally behind our brave performers and come and make a night of it.

Tickets can be bought prior to the show at Origin Espresso in Port Douglas, Goodies in Mossman or www.trybooking.com.

Ticket costs are $22 or $20 members/concession.
