After both teams suffered losses in Round 17, they'll look to bounce back and cling onto their hopes of making the finals. Despite scoring quality wins, both teams have struggled to string together consecutive wins together this season.

The Taipans have been further set back with star forward Cam Tragardh likely to miss another two to four weeks with an ankle injury suffered on New Years Eve.

Similarly, Breakers big man Alex Pledger will be out for another two weeks at least with his own ankle injury. Despite this, New Zealand have stepped up when playing in front of a bigger crowd at Vector Arena and they’ll look to do the same in this game.

The point guard matchup between Kerron Johnson and Demetri McCamey will be one to watch, with both imports playing at a high level this season.
