Crocs' president reports

Well we have all survived the famous Ernie Baxter camp up at Mt Carbine. The weather stayed in our favour and the boys had a good workout.

Sam from Wonthaggi won the SAS survival course. "Have a chat Dylan Wearmouth" conquered the mountain and red and blue team raged the rapids of the mighty McLeod river to win the raft race.
Thanks mainly to Junior the invincible hulk you nearly drowned all opposition players.

Thanks must go to Ernie, Rob Barnett, Norm Walker, Robyn and Corey, Arnie and Kim, Jim Buckley, "stay awake Scotty IGA" and ever reliable Craig "he is not my son" Bannister for their great help over the weekend, and to all the players who had a great workout in readiness for this Saturday.

Yes, the team kicks of this Saturday in the Pre-Season cup at Cazaly's. The Crocs play North Cairns at 1.50pm and Cairns Saints at 3.30pm. Hopefully you can all make it and show your support.

We have welcomed three new recruits into town this week - Scott and Luke from Langwarri and Skip from Adelaide arrived last week. Later this week we have three recruits from North Albury arriving so it is all coming together nicely.

Several of these boys need assistance with work so if you can help in any way please call me or Coops.

Need an employee or looking for a job. See our Employment page.

With less than two weeks (March 25) till our Sponsors/200 club day at Ramada bookings have been slow. This year the 200 club cost is $250 per member and guest which is down $100.00 from last year. Please call Keith the Barber and book as soon as possible as we need to give them numbers. Will be a ripper of a afternoon.

We will start dinners this Thursday so please come down and watch training have a coldie and sample Normy and Robs $8 roast.

Don't forget the Crocs raffle every Friday at the Courty, support the people that support us.

Hope you are all surviving this wet time and I look forward to seeing you at the Crocpit soon.

Andy Smith
President
